Allt Mor cottage is both beautifully and ideally situated - although it is only 4 miles from the main A82 road between Oban and Fort William at Ballachulish, its setting is a peaceful country road on the shore of Loch Leven. The cottage sits alone in its private rough garden with parking and patio area (furniture, barbecue etc.) The sunny, south-facing view across the loch is magnificent, encompassing as it does the mountains of Glencoe .

This was the owner's home until she decided to share it with lucky holidaymakers and guests can therefore be guaranteed a truly comfortable house. The open plan living space includes an open fire in the sitting area. Thanks to oil fired central heating and double glazing the house is cosy in all weathers. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances. Double and twin bedrooms and a bathroom complete the accommodation.

Hotels and shops can be found in nearby Onich and Ballachulish and there is a first-class seafood restaurant just a mile away.

A day trip to Ardnamurchan is quite easy using the Ardgour Ferry which sails there from Onich. For golfers there is a course at Ballachulish; riding is available about 10 miles away at Lettershuna in Appin; from Port Appin, too, the island of Lismore is accessible by taking the foot ferry.

Fort William, 12 miles to the north, has all facilities. You can take a boat trip on Loch Linnhe to see the basking seals. Alternatively, a steam train offers rides to Mallaig and for those determined on a more physically demanding activity there is always Ben Nevis. However, closer to home the mountains of Glencoe are only 15 minutes away by car. There are world-class trails for mountain bikers at Aonach Mor, also a popular ski-ing resort. Eight miles away at Kinlochleven is the Ice Factor, another busy attraction with its rock and ice walls, sauna, childrens' play area, bistro, pub etc.

Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are all included. One well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement under strict control. Sorry, no cats. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
