If you are visiting Edinburgh for pleasure or work, this attractive and spacious flat provides an oasis of calm in the midst of the city. The conversion surrounds a gated courtyard which has quite a Mediterranean feel with flower beds and fountain, and is very private. Ginger Wine provides excellent accommodation for up to four people, and is just a 25 minute walk from Princes Street, or a 10 minutes bus ride on the No 22 which passes the gates every 10 minutes. It is thus convenient for the city centre and even more convenient for the attractions of this most up-and-coming area of town. Here, you are close to the amazing range of world class restaurants and interesting shops which have opened along the picturesque quayside, to the Royal Yacht Britannia, and to the flagship Ocean Terminal shopping and cinema centre. Buses ply continuously up and down to Princes Street, a journey of just a few minutes. And for some gentle exercise, there is also a nearby leisure centre with an excellent swimming pool where the flumes and raft run will delight any younger members in the party. There is a Tesco Metro store very close by.

The apartment has all the features that one would expect from such an elegant conversion. Secure entry system, electric central heating, a large lounge-dining room, a modern fitted kitchen, two good bedrooms and bathroom with shower. The jewel in the crown, as regular visitors to Edinburgh will know, is that it also has its own allocated parking space. (There is also unrestricted parking on some of the adjacent streets.)

Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Sorry, pets are not accepted and smoking is not permitted within the apartment. A refundable householders deposit is required.
