Loch View,
Onich
Fort William
Sleeps sleeps 2/3
Loch View is in an amazing setting on the west coast of Scotland, 37 miles north of Oban and 10 miles south of Fort William, with breathtaking views over Loch Linnhe to the hills of Appin and Morvern and, in the distance, the island of Mull.
This is a totally self-contained first-floor apartment (it has its own private entrance) within what was once the Manse of Glenrigh, home to the 'missionary' of the old Church Cuilcheanna, the ruins of which are still visible within the lovely gardens of the manse.
Visitors will enjoy the peace and quiet of these private gardens (furniture) if they are not tempted away by the myriad of activities and attractions in this area. Not only are there shops, museums, hotels, restaurants and sporting facilities in Onich and neighbouring Fort William but also a car-ferry which will take you over to the Ardnamurchan peninsula with its magnificent scenery and plentiful wildlife. North-west of Fort William there is the famous 'Road to the Isles' and Skye; to the north east there is the Ben Nevis chair-lift (for summer viewing and mountain biking and winter ski-ing) and the infamous Loch Ness with its Monster Museum.
With partial double-glazing and good heating, Loch View is a comfortable and desirable home at any time of year.
Heating is by night-store heaters and electric-fire (electricity
included). Bedlinen and towels are
included. Please no smoking within the house, and pets are not accepted.
