The Park Apartment is in a quiet, leafy cul de sac terrace of gracious sandstone townhouses in the fashionable West End of Glasgow, overlooking the famous Kelvingrove Park. It is a comfortable and spacious property now offered as a holiday home for those who wish to explore this most dynamic and exciting of Scottish cities.

In a quiet streetIt is accessed by a secure entry system and there is also a small lift. Inside, the huge sitting room windows on two sides, together with the high ceilings, give a wonderful feeling of light and space. There is an interconnecting door from here to the kitchen. One double bedroom has an en suite shower room, there is another double bedroom and a further room with two daybeds for additional party members (additional charge for use of all three bedrooms).

Here, you are just a short walk across the park from the Kelvingrove Museum, the Kelvin Hall, and the University, and also within easy walking distance of the City Centre, with its concert halls, theatres, world class restaurants and wonderful shopping opportunities.

A short walk across the parkAlways the powerhouse of Scotland, in recent times Glasgow has completely reinvented itself to become a cultural heritage centre second to none, and it has a buzz and warmth that never fail to capture the hearts of its visitors. The architecture throughout the city is quite amazing - keep looking up as you walk its central streets. It is, after all, the home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Alexander 'Greek' Thompson: while you are there you can view the outside of Mackintosh's College of Art, visit his House of an Art Lover, or take a trip out to The Hill House at Helensburgh. The Burrell Collection at Pollok is another must-see.

It is also easy to take in the attractions round about. In 30 minutes you can be on the shores of Loch Lomond, golfing on its famous Championship courses or even climbing the Ben itself. The Ayrshire coast is easily accessible, or take the ferry over to Dunoon from nearby Gourock and explore the Cowal peninsula. Edinburgh is less than an hour away by very frequent train.

Bed linen, towels, the first £20 of electricity and Gas Central heating are included!included. Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. (Please note, however, that they should not be left unattended in the house.) A small refundable householder's deposit will be required.
