The Avenue is a friendly family-owned Guest House, run by proprietors Adrian and Jackie Hayes who welcome guests to stay for bed and breakfast. Murrayfield Avenue is a wide tree lined boulevard. The Avenue is ideally placed for the major motorway links to both the north and west of Scotland as well as providing easy access to the north of England. Located about 100 paces from the bus stops on Roseburn Terrace, a regular bus service offers a choice of buses (- one of the most frequent bus services in Edinburgh) to Princes Street; a 10 minute ride. The Avenue is a 10 minute walk from Haymarket train station and only a few minutes from Murrayfield Rugby Stadium. Moreover, it is directly on the route between the city centre and Edinburgh Airport, and also has the great benefit of unrestricted free and easy parking right outside on the street. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants around about. |
