Built in 1901 as five Edwardian town houses Channings is four star boutique hotel on a quiet cobbled street, overlooking gardens, just a 12 minute walk from the city centre and its historical sites.
The rooms are striking yet elegant, tailored and classic with a combination of textured fabrics - altogether providing relaxing and comfortable surroundings. Many have breathtaking views of Edinburgh while others overlook private gardens (which guests may enjoy in the summer months as well as a sun terrace which captures the sun all day!).
Channings has a cosy club-like atmosphere, comfortable lounges, and a Restaurant which is open all day and serves contemporary and distinctive French food. It also has a modern bar, the Ochre Vita.
