Built in 1901 as five Edwardian town houses Channings is four star boutique hotel on a quiet cobbled street, overlooking gardens, just a 12 minute walk from the city centre and its historical sites.

The rooms are striking yet elegant, tailored and classic with a combination of textured fabrics - altogether providing relaxing and comfortable surroundings. Many have breathtaking views of Edinburgh while others overlook private gardens (which guests may enjoy in the summer months as well as a sun terrace which captures the sun all day!).

Channings has a cosy club-like atmosphere, comfortable lounges, and a Restaurant which is open all day and serves contemporary and distinctive French food. It also has a modern bar, the Ochre Vita.

The hotel prides itself on good old fashioned service values which makes this an especially excellent place to stay.

Several bed rooms have a panoramic view over the chimney pots of Edinburgh across the Firth of Forth to the Kingdom of Fife.

All rates are per room, per night inclusive of full Scottish breakfast and VAT at 17.5%.
Cancellation policy is 24hrs prior to 4pm of the day of arrival (7 days prior from 1st - 31st August). All cancellations should be confirmed in writing.
The majority of prices fall between the above price brackets, however Channings sometimes discounts below the lowest price indicated.
