Anna's home faces South over playing fields looking across to the whole extent of Edinburgh's skyline (above) from Arthur's Seat to Edinburgh Castle.
Number 18 is in a quiet no-through-road Victorian terrace off Inverleith Row, and is literally a minute's walk from the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Garden and Arboretum, and a 15 minute walk to Princes Street. The centre of town is served by regular buses which take 5 minutes to get there.
Anna Rossi Raman (who is Italian and also speaks French) can recommend several good restaurants and take-aways nearby. She also recommends you take the pleasant walk along the Water of Leith to Stockbridge and the Gallery of Modern Art.

Both the upstairs bedrooms face onto the garden at the back of the house and are very quiet.

Anna serves breakfast at the table under the South facing bow window in the Guest Sitting Room. In the photograph you can see Edinburgh Castle on the horizon near the centre.
Leisurely breakfasts can be spent identifying spires, buildings and monuments...
The Continental breakfast includes a choice of fruit juices, cereals, croissants, toast, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Guests may help themselves to tea, coffee and biscuits in the Guest Sitting Room throughout the day.
