Eskside West bed and breakfast

This 200 year old stone-built terraced cottage, originally a fisherman's home, stands on the edge of the River Esk in Musselburgh. It is just 15 minutes drive to Holyrood Palace or 25 minutes to the very centre of Edinburgh. However, with free parking on the river bank outside the cottage, it is very easy and very advisable to leave the car and take one of the inexpensive, quick and regular buses that take you into the very centre of Edinburgh and that leave from the end of Eskside West road.

Here in her prettily decorated home full of flowers, books and paintings Annie Deacon offers bed and breakfast and a warm and friendly welcome to visitors from all over the world. Annie speaks Italian and understands some French and German.

Locally there are several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance: Lucca's famous Ice Cream Parlour, Caprice, and Lana Thai, "the best Thai restaurant in the East of Scotland". In addition all the Restaurants of Edinburgh's Leith Docks are only a short bus or taxi ride from Annie's Bed and Breakfast.
