Diane and Alan Dickson have converted the ground floor of their historic (grade 'A' listed) home at Number 10 Glenfinlas Street into a spacious serviced rental apartment for one to four guests. It is both a self-catering rental and bed and breakfast. The best of both worlds, you have your own well equipped kitchen, yet Continental breakfast is provided every day and you have the privacy of being in your own self-contained apartment. Moreover the rooms are serviced daily, and Diane can be on hand to advise and help you make the best of your stay in Edinburgh. Glenfinlas Street is a quiet no-through-road just off Charlotte Square and is thus in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. It is round the corner from the National Trust for Scotland Headquarters at 28 Charlotte Square and its quietly excellent Coffee House, Bistro and Bookshop. The central gardens host the annual Edinburgh Book Festival and official residence of the First Minister of Scotland is also on Charlotte Square! Only two minutes from George Street and Princes Street and within easy walking distance of very many of Edinburgh's galleries and museums, whether you are on vacation or in Edinburgh for business, this apartment could hardly be more central. If you are looking for convenience, civilization, space and peace and quiet, this apartment is for you. |
