A peaceful garden apartment in one of Edinburgh's finest streets.
Heriot Row is one of the most elegant Georgian streets in Edinburgh and occupies a prime and central position opposite Queen Street Gardens just five minute's stroll from Princes Street.
Tony and Betty Brightman welcome guests for bed and breakfast at their home, a garden level apartment accessed via the main door under a beautiful fan-light which you can just make out in the photograph (above right).
The apartment is contemporary and comfortable with interesting prints, paintings and books, and is a haven of calm.
You are welcome to relax in the garden (right) after a day of business, culture or sightseeing. Number 30 is so central you can walk to pretty much everything around the city centre, and if you need advice about where to go in Edinburgh or help booking restaurants, etc., the Brightmans are only too happy to help.

Shower room with generous shower, basin and wc.
Double or twin bedroom. The beds are each 3 foot wide, so together make a superking size double.
Right;
Second bedroom, again with 3 foot single beds or a superking double.
Each bedroom has a tea and coffee making tray and a digital radio.
Free Wi-Fi internet broadband for your laptop.
Breakfast:
A continental breakfast of fruit, fruit juice, fruit salad or compôte, yoghurt, porridge, cereals, toast, croissants, tea and coffee is served on the oak dining table in the Garden Room. Special diets can be catered for with advance notice.
There are no televisions in the bedrooms, but you are welcome to relax on the sofas by the French window and watch TV there. The window opens onto the garden.
Tariff:
There are two bedrooms and one shower-room. If you would like guaranteed exclusive and private use of the shower-room the price is £110 for your room per night.
Discount: If you do not mind sharing the shower-room with occupants of the other bedroom the price is reduced to £85 per room per night.
Peak Times: During the Edinburgh Festival a premium of £10 per room per night will apply. During New Year, Six Nations Rugby weekends and Easter a premium of £30 per room per night will apply.
