This bright, light and spacious apartment, available for self catering rental, is on the top floor of Number Five, Square One, a new (2004) development, five minutes walk from Princes Street, the centre of Edinburgh.

It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, and can accommodate 6 with the sofa bed in the Living Room. But if you're visiting Edinburgh in a larger party, owner Neil Shannon has the apartment right next door, also available for rental, and also sleeping up to 6. The next door apartment, Apartment 9, is decorated and furnished in a similar way to this one, but is a little bigger, and has two outside deck areas, one ideal for breakfast al fresco, the other for a sun-downer.

The airport bus and Haymarket train station is just round the corner, and Princes Street and the West End are just up the road, so this really is a very convenient and central place to stay in Edinburgh.
