Whitestone House was built in 1892 as a Manse (Church of Scotland Minister's house). Situated on the edge of the small country town of Peebles, it has a lovely garden with beautiful views over Whitestone Park to the surrounding hills. The house preserves its original Victorian layout and is spacious and centrally heated throughout and the interior is decorated to a high standard.

Mrs Muir, who speaks both German and French, has been offering a warm welcome to guests from all over the world for many years. The house has a lock-up cellar for bicycles and there is private off-street parking; both assets which are much appreciated by her guests. Her bed and breakfast is comfortable and excellent value for money.

Accommodation:

One double bedroom with bathroom (with shower) en suite.

A further double bedroom, one twin-bedded room, a family room, and a single room. Each of these bedrooms has a wash-hand basin. They share between them two well appointed bathroom/shower rooms and also an extra WC downstairs.

Tea and coffee making facilities and a clock-radio are in each room and hairdryers and ironing facilities are available on request.

Lounge and Breakfast Room:

There is a large comfortable lounge with colour TV which is used in the morning for breakfast.

Breakfast is normally served at 8.00 to 8.45am. Your breakfast starts with a buffet consisting of grapefruit segments, fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, etc., followed by a full Scottish cooked breakfast or lighter Continental style, all with the best local ingredients.

Single room, single occupancy from £26 - £28.
