Gracie's Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage, situated on the shore of Loch Kishorn (sea loch), with magnificent views to the Applecross Hills and the famous Bealach-na-Ba Pass of The Cattle. The photograph above was taken from in front of the cottage.

You can see Gracie's Cottage on the left of the row of three cottages in the photograph right. It was completely restored in 2003, has central heating throughout, and offers accommodation for four people. Both bedrooms and the living rooms have the same wonderful panoramic views across the bay.

The cottage is virtually on the sea-shore, with just a small single-track road, leading only to the rest of the village, and a gravel parking area in front. The tide, shallow in front of the cottage, ebbs and flows up to the machair sea grass, and the pebbly sea-weedy shore is fascinating for children. There's also a pleasant little garden which gets afternoon sun from late morning, and another garden behind. There are numerous places to walk, without needing to get into a car. The good village shop and seafood café in Kishorn are within walking distance (about a mile).

The rent includes electricity, central heating and all bed linen. Towels can be provided, but most people prefer to bring their own.
The cottage will be available from 4 pm on the day you arrive, and we must ask you to have left by 10am on the day of departure to allow us time to prepare for the next arrivals.
In addition to the rent a "damage surety deposit" of £100.00 is required, but this will of course be returned after you leave providing everything is left as you found it.
We ask for a deposit of 30% of the total rent due, plus the damage deposit, to confirm a booking - with the balance due 6 weeks before you come (8 weeks for those coming from abroad).
Booking arrangements will normally be made by e-mail, and you will then be sent a booking form etc. by post, to return with the deposit due to confirm the booking. You will also be sent written details of the cottage, and directions on the best way to get here.
