Location map
East and West Stable cottages are in the wing of the U-shaped old stable block at Glenferness which can see in the photograph above. The West Stables now has an extra bedroom with bathroom en suite, as well as a Dining Room, and central heating from a biomass system.
The cottage is surrounded by many lovely trees, and there is a well kept walled garden nearby and many beautiful walks. Walking through the surrounding mature woodlands you may come across some spectacular views to the river.
The paths to the Altnahara beat on the river below start beside the cottage so if you are fishing there your first cast is less than 5 minutes from your front door.
